Robin Samiljan of Swampscott was selected by a rigorous jurying process to exhibit at the Paradise City Arts Festival in Marlborough, taking place Nov. 17, 18 and 19 at the Royal Plaza Trade Center, 181 Boston Post Road West (Route 20). Samiljan is known for her symbolic realism in both abstract and landscape paintings.

Chosen by a distinguished five-member jury of their peers and arts professionals, only 175 artists from all over America survived the cut, after the best one-of-a-kind or limited edition work of nearly a thousand applicants was painstakingly reviewed. The applicants' work was judged on the basis of imagination, technical excellence, design and originality. Many of Paradise City's exhibitors have their work in major collections, museums, and publications around the world.

Look for more of Samiljan's work at the Virginia Carten Gallery at the Abbot Public Library in January.
